NO RESIDENTIAL POWER
Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012
10:00am to 2:00pm
The Department of Water & Power has scheduled
maintenance on the building's transformer vault. In order to complete this important maintenance, the DWP will be shutting down our power on Tuesday, May 22nd from approximately 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
Please prepare for the following during the planned power outage:
- No power inside the units; there will be lighting only in the hallways and elevator vestibules.
- No cold or hot water.
- No HV/AC system.
- The valet elevator, service elevator and elevator 4 will be in service. Elevators 1, 2 and 3 will be out of service.
- The lobby will have partial lighting.
- No Zingle service.
- No computers will be working at the front desk or management offices.
- Partial lighting in the garage.
- Please call for your car as the Zingle system will not be working and your text messages will not be received.
- Try to keep your refrigerator and freezer doors closed during this time to help preserve your food. It may be best to plan ahead and not do a big shop in the days before the power outage if possible.
- We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope this advanced notice will allow you time to plan your day accordingly.

Do you know how to evacuate your home in the event of a life threatening emergency such as a fire or earthquake?
Please plan on attending a resident emergency procedures training class hosted by SurePath on Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00pm in the Club Room so you can be prepared in the event of an emergency here at The Carlyle.
A fire drill will follow Thursday morning at 11am.
